Who the community is for and why they gather
We created this community to help supplement the Kajabi Hero Live experience for attendees. By including engagement activities before, and during the event we were able to extend the event outside of just the programming on-site. By having an online community, attendees were able to share photos, coordinate meetings, and discuss some of the core topics from the event sessions.
Recent community win
A great community win is that we had over 800 RSVPs for various meetups that were hosted by attendees. Using the Meetup functionality in the Communities product was a great way for Heroes to plan gatherings throughout their time in Austin.
Top tip for other heroes
For an hybrid event community- make sure you have a dedicated community manager for the online component! Organizing an in person event while moderating online is difficult for one person. Also, bring some members into the experience early so they can evangelize what you’ve created. Let them step up and participate in different ways to elevate the experience for everyone.
